INDOOR CARPET BOWLS

PRIMROSE CARPET BOWLS
Light indoor exercise. Bowling on 2 mats with around 6-8 people on each. Why not come along and join this small friendly group of people. Refreshment break included during the 2 hour session. No experience needed.

Yoga relaxes and energises the mind and body. Iyengar Yoga is a form of Hatha Yoga that has an emphasis on detail, precision and alignment in the performance of posture and control in your breathing.

The programme offers a high energy, fun, creative, and age appropriate introduction to physical activity through football. Great opportunity to make friends, and emphasises both physical and social development of children.

Do you enjoy music and dance? Would you like to learn new dance skills, baton twisting, cheer leading and make new friends? Boys and girls welcome. We are a long established dance troupe with plenty of experience between us. All newcomers must be 2 years old or over. Places still available, so come and join our family!

pilates - with annie
Pilates is a form of exercise to improve posture, tone muscles, increase mobility and flexibility, and can help reduce stress levels. Pilates can also be used to treat and help prevent injuries such as lower back pain and benefit medical conditions such as chronic fatigue (ME), MS and arthritis. The mat-work classes include the use of small equipment and offers options for all levels, ages and abilities.

At Bodybeats we believe Pilates is for everyone, from young to old, sedentary to athletic. It is perfect for beginners and advanced participants, starting with the most basic of exercises then trying advanced moves as you get better.

ballroom & sequence dancES
Here at Primrose Hall we are lucky to host 2 Saturday evening Dances each month.
The Ballroom Dance which is the 2nd Saturday of every month is hosted by Keith Forman, and music is provided by Roxanne & Keith.
The Sequence Dance follows on the 3rd Saturday of each month. This is hosted by Tony & Janet, who also provide the music.
Both dances offer a great range of music. We have a fantastic large dance floor. Glitter ball and Air conditioning/central Heating. No bar facility- but welcome to bring your own drink/snacks. A lovely social event. Why not bring a friend along too

tai chi
Using slow relaxed movements and minimal force, Tai Chi is the perfect aid to maintaining and improving health and fitness. The 'Tai Chi Form' is a sequence of movements which are performed in a standing position. This class is open to all abilities and all age groups are welcome.

Tea Dance
Wednesday afternoon social tea dance. A great way to meet with others, whilst dancing ballroom, Latin and sequence. Always a warm welcome, whether a beginner or more experienced dancer.

U3A Table Tennis
Wakefield and District U3A (University of the Third Age) Table Tennis Group - All levels are welcome. Group Table Tennis, mostly doubles. Play 50 weeks a year. Do get in touch if you are interested, you are most welcome.
